Great spot to stop in for delicious food. We tried three different burgers and they were all delicious. It was clean and comfortable and easy. We enjoyed our time there.

I've been wanting to try Burger Village for the past few months, and this week we had some friends come through town who are Vegan. We decided to have lunch at Burger Village because of their extensive vegan menu, their ethically conscious ethos, and their social distancing dining options. I tried the Lamb Pyramid burger, my wife got the Salmon Pacific burger, and our friends got black bean burgers. Our server, Maria, was super friendly and helpful, offering to walk us through the menu and answering all of our questions. I ended up loving the hot sauce for the fries and she even grabbed me a few little cups to go. A day later, and we're back, trying new burgers for dinner tonight. Thanks for the great service and delicious food Maria and the rest of the Burger Village team. EDIT: Night two was amazing as well, my wife got the impossible burger with the messy toppings and loved it, I got the Bison Burger with the egg, smoked mozzarella, bbq sauce, and sauteed onion. Our server Dylan was super helpful and engaged. Maria even recognized us and asked how our day was. Thanks again!

Burger Village in Downtown San Luis Obispo is always one of our favorite spots for lunch. Seating is ample and we’ve never had to wait. I think we have eaten here four times. Every time has been good. The ladies that serve us there have always been the same and they carefully guide you through how the menu works if you’ve never been there. They split the burgers into meat selection on top and vegan/vegetarian on the bottom. There are lots of great combinations for toppings to customize your burger. I enjoy their sauces as well. Last time we went we tried the vegan Nuggets and the fried pickles. Vegan nuggets were ok, pretty standard. However the fried pickles were amazing. Great breading, hot and very crispy. They have a decent selection of beer on tap. Also if you don’t want a burger they have hot dogs, grilled cheese and lots of French fry choices. This last visit we sat by the open windows in the front and enjoyed watching the busy streets of downtown. We will be back BV, thank you for all the good service

Why can't I just be seen as a brother? I don't want people thinking that I'm dating my sister, especially after watching Game of Thrones. It was a nice day in SLO, so Lauren and I decided to eat out. Burger Village had some nice outside seating and plenty of vegan options, so that's the place we decided on. Luckily, there weren't many people there yet. When there are too many conversations going on, it's near impossible to focus on the conversation right in front of me. So when Lauren started talking about the dating apps she was on and her recent dating experiences, I was able to be present. Then she asked me if I was planning on using any dating apps soon. I replied with a definite "no". I told her that the idea of sitting across a complete stranger and trying to make conversation sounds terrible. I don't even have a good fake smile yet. I need a good fake smile to go on a date, especially if I'm not happy. Dates are like interviews, I have to dress up and pretend to be this better person. Whenever I would look at my resume or dating profile I'd think, "how on Earth am I going to be that person?". People always say, "just be yourself"...that's awful advice. I'm really shy around strangers, so if I was being myself on a first date, I wouldn't say a word. Instead people should say, "just be less of what you hate about yourself". If I heard that, I would attempt to form a few coherent sentences with my mouth. Interviews are probably better than dates. If you don't get a job after an interview, you don't need to take it personally. There are so many other factors that come into play than just the interview. If you don't go on another date with a person, how are you not supposed to take that personally? Like it's not you, it's just everything that makes you who you are? That sounds pretty personal, but I guess you shouldn't take it too personally. I mean there are millions and millions of eligible bachelors and bachelorettes out there and probably thousands and thousands of "perfect" matches for you. The odds of finding one of those perfect matches is highly unlikely. So if you go on a second date...you're on your way to beating the odds. Anyways, when you're on a date, most likely you're gonna get food. How am I supposed to digest that food when my body is in fight or flight mode. I can't be in rest and digest mode when I'm trying to live up to this awesome person I represented as myself on a dating profile. After I shared all this with my sister, she suggested that I should get coffee for a first date. At first that sounded like a good idea, but I don't think adding coffee to anxiety would go smoothly. While my sister and I were having this conversation an older man walked up to us. He told us that he'd been sipping his beer from afar for the past 30 mins just watching us talk. He then said that he was in Vietnam and was very good at reading people. He proceeded to say the connection between us was special. He must have not heard what we were saying to each other because he thought we were in a romantic relationship. Before he was able to say more, I interjected and told him that we were siblings. He talked to us for a little bit after that and then went back to his table. It didn't help that right before he walked over, my sister and I had ordered a dessert that came out in a pretty display. Apparently, when my sister and I order fancy brownies and talk about our dating lives or lack thereof, people think we're dating. Anyways, the food was absolutely amazing and the waitress was super nice!

Very good high-quality burger spot. So much to choose from, so well done. They take care to offer only good meat, but also other ingredients. I really appreciated the list of vegan options which isn't only one burger. I'll definitely come back to try it. We've ordered turkey burger and it was one of the best turkey burgers to remember. Also the salad was so nice and a big portion. Loved it.

First time having dinner at this Burger joint and it did not disappoint! The environment was inviting, fun, and we got seated right away considering it was a busy evening. I would have added photos of what was consumed but that food was so delicious it was practically inhaled instantly by all four of us. There was nothing left. Portions were perfect and not overwhelming. Didn’t need to take anything home with us. Which I love. I hate taking home leftovers. We came on a Thursday during Farmers Market and the service was great! Aiden was our server and he gave us the run down of how to order and gave great recommendations and answered all our questions. He was the only server there! Didn’t take long to get our food at all. I got the beef burger with waffle fries and he got the same. Asked us how we like our burgers cooked, and they were perfectly executed. We also had their brussel sprouts and never had fried Brussel sprouts before. Very tasty. Their secret sauce was insane and flavorful! My husband and I don’t drink so we had their Organic soda and it was delicious too! Our friends also highly enjoyed their meal and everything that we ordered that came out of the fryer was not even greasy! We couldn’t figure it out! We were greeted by the owner Alex who introduced himself to us and he told us his story and he told us everything is fried in rice oil not canola oil and it truly made a difference. The perfect portion size and the food quality had us all satisfied and guilt free. What’s even better was it was affordable! Worth every penny! Alex and Aiden knocked the service out of the park and we will definitely be returning! If you’re craving a burger, this is the place! I can’t wait to try more!

Located in the heart of downtown. This is a great place for all. The food options are suitable for everyone in the family. The is a well maintained, medium sized restaurant . On a nice day they open their large front windows. This gives the dining area a comfortable open air feeling. Their service was welcoming and the portions were satisfying. The prices are competitive. There are public parking lots near the area.
